Teesside Musical Theatre Company will always welcome those who would like to become a member of the company whether talented on or off stage.
We usually start rehearsals again at the beginning of September, and once a date is fixed we will contact those who are interested in becoming a member of the company. We initially rehearse at Langdon Square Community Centre in Coulby Newham on Monday nights at 7.30 pm. As rehearsals progress, we may add some Wednesdays. When floor rehearsals commence, rehearsals will be on Monday evening, Wednesday evening and Sunday afternoon. A rehearsal schedule will be available to members to confirm when they are required at rehearsals. It is very important that cast members commit to 100% attendance at rehearsals.
Subscriptions for membership of the Company are currently £50 for adults and £25 for students, unwaged and under 16s. All members will be required to audition to take part in the annual production, and the subscription fee must be paid in full before the audition date. In addition members who are selected for the cast of the annual production are required to pay a production fee of £30 or £15 for students, unwaged and under 16s. It should be noted that payment of the subscription does not signify automatic entry into the cast of the annual production.
We also regularly perform concerts, and there’s lots of social events. We are a friendly bunch, but we do need commitment from members to attend rehearsals regularly.
